Alex Rodriguez

MLB
2009
Signed & Game-Worn
World Series Uniform

Alex Rodriguez was wearing this uniform during the clinching game of the 2009 World Series, the Yankees 27th World Series crown, and the first and only title of his career. The jersey and pants are both signed and inscribed by A-Rod with the enthusiasm of a newly minted champion. The uniform not only represents the pinnacle of his career, but also his climb from rock bottom to the top of the sports world, and the moment he officially became a "True Yankee". A-Rod was a 14x All-Star, 3x American League MVP, 10x Silver Slugger Award, and 2x Gold Glove winner. He amassed a .295 batting average, over 600 home runs (696), over 2,000 runs batted in (RBI), over 2,000 runs scored, over 3,000 hits, and over 300 stolen bases, the only player in MLB history to achieve all those feats. Rodríguez is also the career record holder for grand slams with 25. He became the youngest player ever to hit 500 home runs, reaching the milestone in 2007. For all these reasons, this uniform is a historic, Hall of Fame worthy asset.
